Cecilia Machado was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador and moved to the US when she was 18 years old. She attended the University of KY – Gatton College of Business an Economics and graduated in 2006 with an Economics degree. She started her career in office administration of medical practices and then moved to accounting & bookkeeping work in the non-profit sector. She developed a love for accounting and went back to school to get her Accounting degree, graduating from the program in 2018. She currently is working on obtaining her CPA license in Kentucky. Cecilia is bilingual and speaks fluent Spanish. When she is not working, she loves to travel and spend time with her family.
