What Happened:
Client previously used 1-800 Accountants in the past and had numerous mistakes on their tax returns, resulting in additional tax due of $75,000 beyond what was actually owed. Client refused to file taxes due to the high amount and both partners were hit with Failure-to-File and Failure-to-Pay penalties.
